Are the cabins Double Glazed?
Double Glazing was recently installed for added comfort and security.

Is bedding provided?
Bedding is provided and beds are made up for your arrival.

Is breakfast provided?
Breakfast is not provided, but theres a well equipped kitchen for self catering.

Is electricity included in the price? 
Electricity, heating, bed linen and wi-fi access are all included in the price.

Is there a washing machine in the lodge? 
There is no washing machine in the lodge but there is a laundrette in Dunoon (10 mins) with washers and dryers. Service washes are also available.

Is there a dishwasher in the lodge?
There is a dishwasher in Calltainn and in Fraochan.

What T.V. channels are there?
In Calltainn and Fraochan there is 4-channel TV, Catch-up TV, YouTube and NowTV Movies or Netflix, a DVD player and CD player. Each has a small selection of DVDs.

Where are the nearest shops?
The nearest shop is 5 mins away with most basic provisions and is open early until late. There are other shops at Sandbank and in the town of Dunoon, 10 mins.

Can I get a signal on my mobile phone?
There is a good mobile signal on most networks, although EE and Orange signal patchy.

Are dogs allowed in any of the accommodation?
No. Much as we love dogs, unfortunately we cannot allow them in the lodges. Some people suffer from pet allergies, and we know how difficult it can be to keep dogs off beds and sofas. Dogs also bring in the mud and the wet, ticks and bugs. We want our guests to experience clean, fresh-smelling facilities, so we hope you will understand.

Are children allowed?
Children over 5 years are welcome at Calltainn and Fraochan.

Do we have to pay to use the Wi-Fi connection?
Wi-fi access is free of charge.

Are towels or toiletries provided?
Towels and Tea towels and some complimentary toiletries are provided. 

When can we arrive and depart?
Your lodge will be available after 4:00 pm on Arrival Day, and you must depart by 10:00 am on Departure Day, but you can request Early Arrival from 2:30 pm or Late Departure to 11:30 am each for a small extra charge

Can I smoke in the lodge, have candles or a barbecue?
All our lodges are NO SMOKING, but you can smoke outside. The cabins are made of wood so we ask guests to smoke away from the lodges. Barbecues are welcome but again not in the immediate vicinity, or directly on grass. Candles and naked flames are not permitted inside the lodge.

Do we have to clean the accommodation when we leave? 

We ask that all accommodation is left clean and tidy, rubbish emptied, dishes put away, cooker & crockery all left clean, much as you found it on Arrival. A housekeeping starter pack is provided including washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, toilet roll and bin bag. Other basic cleaning materials are provided. For a small fee we can do your final clean-up for you.

Can I cook in the lodge?
Each cabin is equipped with a kitchen with 4-ring electric induction hob, oven, microwave oven, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are also several country inns, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops nearby or within a 10 min drive if you want to eat out.
